You can bet on a night of great entertainment when you book a Race Night, organised by the capable folks at Vinny’s Karaoke Machine. Our race nights are fun for everyone and as long as you are fundraising for a charity and not running the race night as a commercial lottery for profit, a gambling license is not required. All money raised by the Race Night must be given directly to the named charity or good cause.
A reasonable portion of the amount raised is permitted to be used to cover running costs, such as Race Night prizes and the printing of the tickets.

A Race Night from Vinny’s Karaoke Machine consists of 8 or 10 races. You can ask local business owners to sponsor one or more of the races. Their business will be named over the microphone, before and after the race and you can also name them on the posters that you print for the event.
We help ensure that the evening goes as smoothly as possible for you and your guests, by announcing ticket sales, before the start of each race and reminding participants of the good cause that you are raising funds for.
While the races are pre-recorded, each race is played in a random non-sequential order. The outcome of each race will be unkown to everyone, even the DJ, until the winning horse crosses the finish line. The random running order makes sure that everyone taking part has an equal chance of winning.
As well as sponsoring a race, local businesses and individuals can sponsor the horses and even give the horse a name. This is yet another fun and exciting way of raising money for the good cause that is close to your heart.
Between each race, background music can be played or we can include a fundraising element to the Karaoke, where the singer pays a nominal amount to put their name down for the next song.
