On the day of your party or the days leading up to your party, the last thing you want to hear from your DJ is that they have cancelled your Disco. Or maybe you’re at the venue and the DJ has not arrived. Sadly, sometimes, even from the DJ’s perspective, cancelling an event could be unavoidable. The good news is that you can book a DJ or Mobile Disco at short notice and in some cases we can be at the venue and have everything up and running within the hour.
Even though your DJ cancelling on you can be worrying, the important thing is to stay calm and follow our handy guide on what you can do next to ensure your party still goes ahead. The show must go on!
What To Do Next
Call Us – we provide Emergency DJ Cover and can provide entertainment for your event at short notice. If, for any reason we are unavailable or already pre-booked, we will always be able to put you in touch with another recommended DJ.
Speak to the venue staff – many venues with function rooms will already have arrangements for an emergency DJ at short notice, if yours has let you down.
Speak to the Company
This is really important, you need to know why your DJ has had to cancel. It’s possible that there has been an emergency or an equipment breakdown.
Getting Your Deposit Back
If you have paid a deposit to your DJ and they have cancelled the event through no fault of your own, you are entitled to a refund of your deposit.
Getting A Refund
And What To Do If Your DJ Won’t Help You
As above, if you have booked a DJ for your event and they have cancelled, you are entitled to a refund of any money you paid to them before the event.
Getting your refund can be tricky, if you can’t work things out with the DJ. If you need some help, while we can’t step in directly, we will always provide you with advice on what you can do if you can’t get your refund from your DJ.
